Justin Pelic is an inside linebacker with the Florida Gators in his third year as a Gator. In high school, he set the all-time school record for tackles with 313 at the varsity level while also playing offense at the largest high school in South Carolina. He then joined the Gators in 2019 as a preferred walk-on. With outstanding academics, he turned down an opportunity to attend Stanford as a preferred walk-on and decided to come to UF, also being accepted into UF’s Honors College. His G.P.A. at UF is currently a 3.7 and was named to the Fall 2020 SEC Academic Honor Roll as one of four student-athletes at UF with a 4.0 GPA that semester. Justin has predominantly played scout team for the past three years and received defense and special teams scout player of the week numerous times, but plans to contribute on special teams in the coming years. With three years of eligibility remaining and a selfless attitude, Justin’s best football is ahead of him.
