Deric is a freshman at UF. Last year he led his team to the Florida Baseball Finals Championship game. As a Senior at North Marion Deric batted .462 with 13 Homeruns and 52 RBI’s. These numbers along with his leadership on the field led him to be not only the Florida 4A Player of the Year but he was also named Dairy Farmer’s Mr. Baseball for the state of Florida. This honor is awarded to the best player in Florida regardless of classification.
