Scott A Bryan
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in the construction and design-build industry. After graduating from the M.E. Rinker College of Design, Construction, and Planning at the University of Florida (while also serving as an Offensive Lineman on the 1996 National Championship football team), Scott worked on over 100 commercial, office and retail projects with J. Raymond Construction Corp. While there, he grew his career rapidly from a Field Engineer to Super, PM, and Sr. Project Manager and established his reputation by successfully completing numerous projects for companies such as Publix, Wal-Mart, Fresh Market, Aldi and as well as numerous private developers.
In 2010, Scott founded Bryan Builders, LLC, a national general contracting firm. Bryan Builders was honored in 2021 and 2022 in the Gator 100, celebrating the world’s fastest-growing Gator businesses. Scott’s values of always putting others first has helped him build a first-class team and positioned Bryan Builders for significant growth and strong partnerships in the future.
A 1995 graduate of the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and distinguished military veteran, Frank Hamner has established himself as a legal scholar and powerful litigator. He has published research in construction litigation, employment law, and intellectual property, and has committed himself to the central Florida community with his service on numerous nonprofit boards. Prior to launching his private practice, Frank worked for one of the largest commercial law firms in Central Florida. Today he continues his strong litigation and administrative practices and serves as retained counsel to one of the largest corporate entities in the area. Frank also serves on the Board of Directors of Gator Boosters.
Chris LaFace is a graduate of UF’s Warrington College of Business Administration with a degree in Business Management. As the President and CEO of utilities contractor RIPA & Associates since 2004, Chris LaFace understands the intricacies of expanding a brand. His skills and expertise earned him Business Observer’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in 2015, [Read More] and as a true innovator, he’s always looking for ways to build off success and develop those around him. Chris is a mentor, shaping the community’s future. From serving on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House, the Randy Roberts Foundation and the UF Athletic Association to his work for the Tampa Pig Jog and Make-a-Wish Foundation, he is dedicated to being a difference maker in the community. Chris brings that spirit and passion to our Executive Advisory Board, where he enthusiastically sets out to spur Gator Collective to success.
